Think of recovery like building a skyscraper. You can't skip the foundation and expect the top floors to hold. Your body works the same way. Before you can run, lift, compete, or get back to the things you love, your body needs the right qualities built in the right order.
That's what the 10-Step Recovery Process is designed to do. At EVO, we use this process to organize rehab, measure progress, and make sure we're focused on the right thing at the right time. Each step builds something your body needs: less pain, better mobility, more strength, improved balance, greater power, better endurance, and more coordinated movement.
As you read through this guide, don't think of each step as a random exercise or treatment.

Most people are given treatment, exercises, or temporary relief, but not a clear process for building their body back in the right order.
Usually, it comes down to three things.
If no one is assessing how you move, where you're limited, and what your body actually needs, everyone is guessing.
Pain tells us where your body needs help, but not always why it started. If the real limitation is missed, symptoms usually come back.
Exercises can help, but only when they are part of a process with the right order, progression, and clear markers for when to move forward.
